40mm Bofors Emplacement

Caption: 
The large box feeder at the top of the breech is a magazine holder for the 5-round clips the 40mm took. Several men would feed the clips into the gun, which consumed ammunition rapidly. It looked like Dover Castle had several Bofors emplacements during World War II.
