M40 155 mm Gun Motor Carriage

The M40 155 mm Gun Motor Carriage was deployed by the United States Army late in in the Second World War, against the city of Cologne. The British received a number of vehicles as well after World War II. It had a crew of eight and was based on a Sherman M4A3 chassis with a different engine and a special suspension.
