Bristol Blenheim Mark IV Type 149 Cockpit

Image Information
This Bristol Blenheim Mark IV Type 149 Cockpit shows how cramped RAF personnel were during long continental flights. Note asymmetric cockpit. This section was taken from G-BPIV, which was restored in 1987 and 2003, and crashed both times. Currently this section is on display while the wings and tail section are mated to a rare Mark I Type 142M Blenheim. As of March 22, 2011, the airframe was assembled but the engines and landing gear were not in place.
