sIG 33 150 mm Close Infantry Support Gun

The schwere Infanterie Geschss∫tz 33 fired a 150 mm shell that weighed 63 pounds (29kg) up to almost three miles (4,700 meters). While its intended targets were infantry formations, fortifications or urban areas, because of the T-34 the Germans developed a very inaccurate high explosive round for use against tanks. German batteries used this gun in conjunction with the 105 mm leIG18.
